Production Machine Operator

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to stand for up to 95% of the work shift. Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds. Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as business needs require. Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing or production environment preferred. Understanding of production processes and quality standards preferred. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and production schedules. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Job Summary: Operate and set up printing, inserting, sorting, and production equipment in a high-volume production environment. Adjust machine settings and respond to equipment error messages to maintain production efficiency. Perform quality inspections to verify accuracy, quantity, and compliance with production order tickets. Manually prepare mail by inserting documents into envelopes, affixing tags, and packaging expedited mail. Operate presorting equipment to identify damaged mail, separate defective pieces, and request reprints. Sort completed mail into designated bins for postal distribution. Support production, safety, quality, security, and continuous improvement initiatives. Cross-train on multiple production machines and equipment to support operational flexibility. Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Important info about this role: Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd or 3rd shifts. Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays.
