We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and lead our culinary staff. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation procedures Develop and update menus in collaboration with culinary staff, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients Control inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs to meet budget targets Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that encourages professional growth Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, or similar leadership role in a hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure Creative culinary skills with a passion for quality and innovation Budget management and cost control experience Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred At the Confluence Hotel, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates the local history and community.
