Salary: $25-$30/hr BOE CNC Machinist (Swiss Lathe) | Day Shift | Up to $35/hr | Contract-to-Hire Location: Hudsonville, MIJob Type: Contract-to-Hire (potential for direct hire)
Shift: Days, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour CNC Machinist (Swiss Lathe) Opportunity in Hudsonville Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with Swiss Lathe experience looking for a stable day shift schedule and long-term career opportunity? Join a growing, family-owned manufacturing company in Hudsonville that values its employees and offers a unique 4-day work week . This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential to become a permanent member of the team. Ideal candidates will have experience working with CNC machinery, reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and making machine adjustments. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload CNC machines
- Understand and perform tool changes and tool touch-offs
- Perform routine machine maintenance and machine adjustments, including tension adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Use gauges and inspection tools to complete quality checks
- Follow quality standards and manufacturing specifications
- Cross-train and eventually work within multiple areas of production, including:
- CNC Machines
- Vertical CNC Machines
- Robotics
- CNC Swiss Machines
- Assembly
- Experience operating CNC machinery, preferably CNC Swiss Lathes
- Ability to perform tool changes and tool touch-offs
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
- Ability to use gauges and perform quality inspections
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to make routine machine adjustments
- Commitment to safety, quality, and production standards
