Solar PV Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Project Manager to own the full construction lifecycle of commercial distributed generation solar projects - from project acquisition through post COD closeout. This is an owner's rep PM role, not a CM role. You will not be swinging a hammer or managing crews directly, but you will be accountable for schedule, budget, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across every project in your portfolio. What You'll Do Take ownership of projects at acquisition and drive them through preconstruction, construction, and closeout Conduct site visits during the preconstruction period to assess buildability, site access, and potential construction risks Manage RFP processes, bid benchmarking, and contractor selection in coordination with third party consulting firms Build and maintain project schedules and budgets, tracking costs and timeline against plan throughout construction Serve as the owner's rep on site, overseeing installation quality and QC processes without directly managing field crews Manage EPC and subcontract agreements in coordination with team leads and inside counsel Own permitting and regulatory compliance including development of permit matrices, noise ordinances, dust control requirements, and other site specific requirements Manage change order requests, deficiency logs, meeting minutes, and all project documentation Coordinate logistics of major material deliveries, mobilization plans, and sequencing Lead Integrated Project Team meetings and take over developer coordination after project acquisition Stay ahead of ancillary site obligations such as property line compliance, grazing agreements, and other land related requirements Support process improvement and standardization across preconstruction and construction workflows What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience in solar construction project management, preferably commercial DG Background in solar construction strongly preferred; candidates from adjacent construction disciplines will be considered Experience functioning as an owner's rep overseeing third party contractors and consulting firms Strong command of schedule and budget management, permitting, and EPC contract administration Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and ERP/CRM platforms PMP and/or NABCEP PVIP certification preferred Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
