Senior Accountant II

Position Summary: Arsenal Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant II with a strong background in general accounting functions who is also willing to gain or expand knowledge of Oil and Gas accounting. Full-time hybrid schedule to include work in the Company's Wexford, PA office.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Arsenal Resources LLC is a privately held company focused on developing unconventional reservoirs in the Appalachian Basin. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate and includes an attractive compensation package and benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare entries to assist with month end close process
- Complete monthly account reconciliations to assure accuracy of ledger
- Calculation and entry of monthly operated revenue distribution
- Processing of revenue payments as well as support for land and AP payment processing
- Prepare annual property tax filing and track related accruals and payments
- Monthly severance tax filing and payment processing
- Maintenance of vendors and select master files within ERP
- Assist with unclaimed property tracking and correspondence with tax consultants
- Assist with financial reporting
- Compiling data for other regular reporting requirements
- Other duties and projects as assigned by Controller
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 plus years prior accounting experience
- Microsoft Office programs including intermediate or advanced Excel knowledge
- Enertia knowledge preferred
- Oil and Gas accounting experience preferred
- Must be able to interact with all levels of employees within organization including Executive Management. Must also be able to interact with vendors and other members within the industry.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk, ability to bend over and reach above head, ability to lift under 20 pounds, ability to view computer screen for extended periods of time, and ability to type on a keyboard.
