Position Summary Sam’s Club Front‑line associate provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues, promotes products and services, and supports members with self‑service technology. The role includes processing member purchases, handling payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and ensuring safety, security, and compliance with company policies. Responsibilities Provide member service and support at the checkout and during member interactions. Maintain the checkout and merchandise areas, ensuring products are properly zoned, organized, and displayed. Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies. Follow safety and security procedures, including conducting safety sweeps and monitoring for potential criminal activity. Perform safety and security documentation, including logs and emergency response procedures. Assist in the training of new associates on company processes, technology, and procedures. Identify and report unsafe or shrink situations to facility management. Collaborate with managers and co‑workers to prioritize and complete tasks, communicate progress, and improve processes. Foster an inclusive work environment, building strong relationships and promoting team development. Act with integrity, adhering to Walmart values and compliance standards. Deliver results with a customer‑first mindset, making data‑driven decisions. Continuously seek improvement, embrace new technologies, and support change management. Qualifications Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register. Experience working with mobile retail applications. Preferred Qualifications None listed.
