Embark on an impactful short-term assignment serving students and staff as a credentialed school psychologist near Riverside and Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals seeking rewarding work in a flexible, part-time capacity. You’ll play a crucial role supporting a school community during a maternity leave, with potential to extend your assignment into the winter season.
This 60% itinerant role covers approximately three full workdays per week, with flexible scheduling available between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. The position is set to begin August 5th and runs through October 30th, with possible continuation through December 18th.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid School Psychologist credential
- Over five years of relevant experience, including at least two consecutive years in school-based settings
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Commitment to collaboration and communication with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and social-emotional needs
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and counseling services
- Communicate findings, strategies, and recommendations to school teams and parents
- Travel between school sites within a small, manageable area
