This role ensures the platform is not only functional but enterprise-ready, auditable, and secure at scale. This person would also provide senior-level depth and redundancy alongside the Tech Lead, reducing single-point-of-failure risk on the engagement.Key Responsibilities:Own the security and compliance layer of the Azure platform, including identity and access management (RBAC/Azure AD), network security, and policy enforcement via Azure Policy or equivalentEstablish and document platform governance frameworks — tagging standards, environment promotion gates, change management processes — ensuring the platform scales cleanly as more product teams onboardLead secrets management architecture, configuration injection patterns, and audit logging across the platform; support SOC 2 / HIPAA alignment as required by CoverMyMeds/McKessonProvide senior-level technical mentorship and serve as backup technical lead, ensuring delivery continuity throughout the SOWRequired Skills:Azure Security & Governance: 5+ years with Azure, with deep expertise in Azure Active Directory, RBAC, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Key Vault; experience hardening platforms for regulated industries (healthcare preferred)Platform Governance & Compliance: Proven ability to establish governance frameworks, enforce compliance controls in IaC (e.g., Terraform Sentinel or Azure Policy as code), and prepare platforms for security auditsSenior Consulting & Delivery: Experience operating as a senior individual contributor in a consulting engagement, comfortable driving technical decisions independently and engaging directly with client security and architecture stakeholdersAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
