CT Scan Technologist-Atlantic Health Radiology @ Florham Park-Full Time: Mon-Fri 9a-5p

Responsibilities Produce cross‑section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis. Interpret physicians' scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scanner, and position patients to capture appropriate images. Interpret CT protocols and correctly position patients for the exam. Operate CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA). Evaluate CT scans for technical quality. Use EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the radiologist for interpretation. Prepare and administer contrast material using the power injector. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology. Licensed by the state in Diagnostic Technology. Preferred: CT certification.
