Job Title: Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Observation Unit)
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Unit: Observation Unit (30-Bed Medical/Surgical with Telemetry)
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12s
Duration: 13 Weeks

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Unit Highlights

• 30-bed Observation and Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry capability.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–6 .
• Supported by Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Healthcare Unit Coordinators, Monitor Technicians, and Unit Secretaries.
• Virtual sitter monitoring available for enhanced patient safety.
• Part of a Level I Trauma Center caring for patients across all age groups.
• Collaborative, team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical RN experience .
• Experience caring for telemetry patients preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care setting.
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications as required by facility)

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Travelers are required to work up to six weekend shifts during the assignment.
• Must be available to work holidays as needed based on unit staffing requirements.
