Sr. Manager, Business Development & Marketing

Overview The Marketing and Business Development team (internally referred to as Sales Enablement) focuses on winning new business for clients and prospects by partnering with sellers to create compelling stories, develop content, and translate key themes visually. The team project‑manages proposals and pitches, operating as a group of platform experts to ensure best practices and effective resource utilization. Responsibilities Develop and lead strategy for winning pitches, proposals, RFP responses and presentations. Execute pursuits to ensure the right resources are in place, deadlines are met, and quality control meets or exceeds expectations. Complete due diligence and competitive analyses for new and existing business pursuits, including research, analytics, data mining, and data collection. Understand and analyze industry trends and competitive activity. Maintain a library of pitches, presentations, standard marketing collateral, case studies, broker biographies, and practice‑area material to support new business and client retention. Identify new ways to present material to improve pitches and proposals continuously. Own data and make recommendations to win new business pursuits. Track, measure, and report performance metrics (win rate, trends, insights) across all business‑development activities. Lead or participate in workstreams, leveraging strong understanding of JLL teams, subject‑matter experts, and service‑line offerings. Drive technology adoption and partner with leadership, operations, research, marketing, graphic design, communications, and technology teams. Manage scalable standard operating processes and procedures that support workflow requests. Coach, train, develop, and mentor sales‑enablement team members. Operate in a continuous process‑improvement state, identifying projects and proactively addressing challenges. Qualifications B.A. or B.S. (or higher) with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience. Strong graphic design and communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work successfully in a service‑oriented, matrixed environment with many stakeholders. Proven leadership, organizational, and team‑management skills. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Proven track record of success in business development or a related field. Proficiency in using cutting‑edge technology to implement and optimize deliverables (presentations, systems, processes). High energy, creativity, and orientation toward value‑add results. Experience in AI & Innovation initiatives is a plus. No visa sponsorship is provided; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Compensation Estimated compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 USD per year (actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations).
