This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced, high-level trauma and cardiovascular environment. The role requires scrub and circulate experience with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, supporting complex procedures including transplant and Whipple surgeries. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: BSN preferred; ACLS and BLS certifications required; 2 years of related OR experience required, or 1 year if experienced within a Level 1 trauma facility; must have experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery. Schedule: Night shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026. Position Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in cardiovascular operating rooms, support high-acuity surgeries, enter missing instruments into the system, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Additional Requirements: Will float within service line as needed, with no call requirement for night shifts. Submission Instructions: Candidates must be licensed in IL or MO, or pending license; must meet all compliance and certification deadlines; no local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted; all travelers will float within their service line.
