Sr Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Lewisville, TX, United States Trending Job Description The Director of Finance, FP&A, is a key leader in the Access Systems Division of Overhead Door Corporation, which manufactures residential and commercial garage and industrial doors and distributes both doors and opening devices through multiple channels. This role is responsible for driving division-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management, while partnering closely with executive leadership to provide actionable insights, improve decision‑making, and ensure alignment with the company’s long‑term financial objectives. This role may be filled at the Director or Senior Director level based on the selected candidate’s experience, leadership capabilities, and demonstrated success operating in roles of comparable scope and complexity. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead and scale high‑performing teams in a dynamic environment, along with strong systems experience in both ERP and financial consolidation reporting platforms. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process, long‑range planning, and rolling forecasts across the organization Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and resource allocation Provide scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to guide executive decision‑making Financial Analysis & Insights Deliver timely, accurate financial analysis and performance reporting to senior leadership Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations Business Partnership Partner with business unit leaders to drive financial accountability and performance Support key operational and strategic initiatives, including pricing, cost optimization, and capital allocation Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on financial implications of business decisions Performance Management Establish and monitor KPIs and financial metrics aligned with strategic goals Lead variance analysis and performance reviews, including monthly and quarterly business reviews Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and analytics Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing FP&A team Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Mentor and develop future finance leaders within the organization Process & Systems Optimization Enhance financial planning tools, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability Leverage data analytics and automation to elevate FP&A capabilities Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred) 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant FP&A leadership experience; title and level will be commensurate with the candidate’s depth of experience, strategic influence, and leadership scope Proven track record of partnering with senior executives and influencing strategic decisions Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams Preferred Experience in manufacturing or building materials company Advanced proficiency in financial systems, including strong experience with ERP platforms and financial consolidation/reporting tools such as Oracle and Hyperion Essbase Strong understanding of financial metrics, KPIs, and performance management frameworks Strategic thinking and business acumen Executive communication and presentation skills Leadership and talent development Problem‑solving and decision‑making Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment Job Info Job Identification 4616 Job Category Accounting Posting Date 06/03/2026, 01:16 AM Job Schedule Full time Job Shift Day Locations 2501 S State Highway 121 Business, Lewisville, TX, 75067, US #J-18808-Ljbffr Overhead Door Corporation
