Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in the ServiceNow Notify platform to design, develop, and implement enterprise communication solutions supporting incident response, stakeholder communications, customer notifications, and operational alerts.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow Notify, integrating SMS and voice communication providers such as Twilio, and leveraging related ServiceNow modules to support end-to-end notification and major incident communication strategies. This individual must possess broad ServiceNow platform knowledge and understand the dependencies, integrations, licensing requirements, and compliance considerations necessary for successful Notify deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy ServiceNow Notify solutions supporting enterprise communication and notification requirements.

• Lead or support end-to-end implementations of ServiceNow Notify, including architecture, configuration, integration, testing, and production deployment.

• Integrate ServiceNow Notify with SMS and voice communication providers such as Twilio and other third-party messaging platforms.

• Develop automated notification workflows for incidents, outages, major incidents, operational events, and stakeholder communications.

• Partner with IT Operations, Service Management, Infrastructure, Security, and Business stakeholders to define communication requirements and notification strategies.

• Configure and enhance ServiceNow applications, workflows, Flow Designer processes, scripted integrations, and custom applications.

• Implement communication capabilities supporting:

• Incident Management

• Major Incident Management

• Incident Communications Management

• Stakeholder Communications

• Customer Notification Workflows

• Collaborate with platform architects to ensure proper integration of Notify with:

• CMDB

• ITOM Event Management

• Service Mapping

• Knowledge Management

• ITSM modules

• Support implementation and adoption of AI-powered communication capabilities through Now Assist where applicable.

• Create technical documentation, solution designs, implementation guides, and operational support procedures.

• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and ongoing platform optimization.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and communication consent requirements, including TCPA-related messaging controls and opt-in/opt-out processes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.

• Proven hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow Notify in a production environment.

• Strong experience developing solutions across the ServiceNow platform, including:

• ITSM

• Incident Management

• Major Incident Management

• Incident Communications Management

• Deep understanding of ServiceNow licensing considerations and dependencies related to Notify implementations.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with SMS and voice communication providers, including Twilio.

• Strong scripting and development experience utilizing:

• JavaScript

• Business Rules

• Script Includes

• Flow Designer

• Integration Hub

• REST/SOAP APIs

• Experience configuring and utilizing:

• CMDB

• ITOM Event Management

• Service Mapping

• Understanding of enterprise communication workflows, escalation processes, and major incident response procedures.

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing or supporting Now Assist and AI-driven ServiceNow capabilities.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.

• Experience supporting large-scale IT Operations and Service Management environments.

• Experience designing enterprise notification frameworks for global organizations.

• Familiarity with omnichannel communications, voice notifications, SMS messaging, mobile communications, and stakeholder engagement platforms.

Compliance & Regulatory Experience

Candidates must demonstrate experience supporting communication programs that require regulatory compliance and consent management, including:

• TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) compliance considerations.

• SMS opt-in and opt-out workflows.

• Consent management processes.

• Communication auditability and reporting.

• Notification governance and communication policies.
