Senior Plumbing And Fire Protection EngineerOur client is an employee-owned architecture and engineering firm that designs the buildings it engineers. They are looking for a senior plumbing and fire protection engineer to run their own projects and mentor the less experienced staff. You would be responsible for design on your own projects and stay with them the whole way, from concept through construction administration. The work is labs, data centers, schools and universities, and offices in and around Boston. The position is hybrid, three days a week in office.What you would be doing:Designing domestic water, sanitary and waste, storm, and gas systems, along with sprinkler and standpipeProducing full construction documents in Revit and coordinating them in the model with the other disciplinesHandling code and AHJ reviewStaying on through construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and site visitsMentoring and training junior staffWorking directly with clientsWhat we are looking for:8 to 12 years of plumbing and fire protection design at a consulting engineering or A/E firmExperience in RevitA bachelor's in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in the discipline
