Job Summary Burnham Elementary School is seeking responsible and hardworking individuals for part‑time summer custodian positions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain work experience in a supportive environment while helping maintain clean and safe facilities for our school community. Position Details Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial – Custodian Date Posted: 6/3/2025 Location: Burnham Elementary School Date Available: 06/23/2025 Closing Date: 06/20/2025 Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week (Monday–Thursday, 6 am – 1 pm) Pay Rate: Minimum wage Dates of Employment: June 23 – August 14, 2025 Responsibilities General cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas Floor care (sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming) Emptying trash and recycling bins Assisting with basic maintenance or setup tasks as needed Reporting any safety or maintenance concerns to the supervisor Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 25 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions Previous custodial experience is a plus, but not required To Apply Please submit a brief application or letter of interest to View email address on click.appcast.io by June 16, 2025.
