Corporate Counsel with Growing Public Company

Latitude’s publicly traded healthcare services company is adding a Corporate Counsel / Assistant Counsel to its nimble, collegial legal department. This is a unique opportunity to report directly to the General Counsel, build experience across a range of corporate and commercial practice areas, and work closely with senior business leaders across the organization. Various levels of experience will be considered with title and compensation varying accordingly.Basic Requirements for the Corporate Counsel – Generalist:5 - 10+ years of professional legal experience, either in-house or as outside counsel, with exposure to commercial contracting, corporate governance, SEC compliance, or regulatory mattersExperience in one or more of the following is a plus: commercial contracting, mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting, corporate governance, real estate, employee benefits, or compliance program developmentPrior experience advising healthcare or life sciences organizations is a plus but not requiredJuris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in Georgia (or eligible for in-house exemption)Strong written and verbal communication skills with solid contract drafting and negotiation capabilitiesExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesOutstanding professional referencesPosition Details of the Corporate Counsel – Generalist:Type of role: In-House CounselSchedule: Full-timeLocation: Atlanta Northwest Perimeter AreaCompensation:Pay: Compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.
