Location: Macon, GA (888 Pine Street)

Start Date: 04/28/2026

Duration: Permanent position

Shift: 26 weeks per yearone week on, one week off

Schedule: Daily rounding with on-call from home every other night

Hours/Week: Full-time hours, flexible to job needs

Employment Type: Permanent, W-2 doctor

Licensing: GA medical license required

Experience: At least 2 years in Neonatology preferred

What You'll Do

Provide specialized neonatal care in a state-of-the-art Level-III NICU.

Conduct daily patient rounds and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Participate in clinical care for high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and brain cooling.

Offer support and guidance to neonatal nurse practitioners and families.

Contribute to clinical teaching and possible academic appointments through Mercer Medical School.

Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards.

Be an integral part of a dedicated neonatal team serving a regional referral center.

What You Need Required

Neonatologist board certification/license for Georgia

Minimum 2 years' experience in Neonatology

Strong clinical skills, including familiarity with high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling techniques

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-level NICU environment

Preferred

Previous experience in a Level-III NICU setting

Experience with multidisciplinary team collaboration

Commitment to patient-centered care and excellence in neonatal medicine
