Position Summary

The Construction / Preconstruction Scheduler develops, maintains, analyzes, and communicates project schedules throughout the project lifecycle. The Scheduler works with preconstruction, project management, field operations, procurement, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to develop realistic project schedules, monitor progress, identify potential delays, and support schedule recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules.
• Create work breakdown structures and project activity sequences.
• Establish and maintain project baselines.
• Perform critical-path and float analysis.
• Track actual progress against planned progress.
• Incorporate subcontractor activities into project schedules.
• Integrate procurement and long-lead equipment milestones.
• Incorporate startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and schedule updates.
• Identify potential schedule risks and delays.
• Develop schedule recovery scenarios when needed.
• Prepare reports and schedule presentations for project leadership.
• Coordinate schedule information with project teams and field personnel.

Preferred Background

• Construction scheduling or project-controls experience.
• Experience with complex commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data-center projects.
• Primavera P6 experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling.
• Experience managing baseline and updated schedules.
• Ability to communicate schedule information to project stakeholders.
