Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations. Support manufacturing team continuous improvement efforts through learning, development, and professional growth. Develop, modify, and document actions to resolve problems and implement corrective or preventive actions.

#Education & Job Requirements

*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*1+ years of experience reading, understanding, engineering drawings and specifications, including blueprint and schematic reading, specifications, changes, and designs
*1+ years of experience working in a Manufacturing environment
*Experience in a highly regulated environment where compliance is critical
*Experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

#Preferred Skills

*1+ year of experience working with specialized tools, including electrical and mechanical wire crimpers and strippers, wire routing tools, accessing computer files, and multimeters
*Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities data needed for defining delivery configurations, including design definition, program directives, engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams and schematics, functional tests, and supplier data
*Ability to differentiate production manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements
*Complete knowledge of shop processes including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)

#Physical Requirements & Environment

*Work 100% onsite at Lemont Furnace, PA or Smithfield, PA
*Complete OJT or formal classroom training as required for successful assignment completion
