Ability to pass a medication administration test and clinical observation. Dependable with consistent attendance. Excellent communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Description: The facility seeks a Registered Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care. This role involves administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Nurses will perform medication passes accurately and safely. Monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition is crucial. Timely and accurate documentation is required. Nursing care must be provided in accordance with facility policies. The nurse will supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on assigned units. This position requires a team player with a positive attitude. Every other weekend availability is required upon center request. The patient population includes individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. The nurse will work in a 300-bed facility with a patient ratio of 1:18-20. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Compliance may take 1.5 to 2 weeks. Candidates must provide proof of their nursing license at the time of submission. Call-ins and requests for time off must be submitted with ample notice. No changes to shifts or requests for time off will be approved after an offer is made.
