MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local client are NOW HIRING a 2nd Shift Production Team Lead in the Park 100 area of Indianapolis, IN!

We are looking for an experienced production professional with strong leadership skills who can help guide a team while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Position Details

• Position: Production Team Lead

• Shift: 2nd Shift

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–3:00 AM

• Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience

• Location: Park 100 – Indianapolis, IN

• Overtime: Mandatory Saturday overtime may be required based on production needs

Job Summary

The Production Team Lead is responsible for leading and supporting production employees, assigning daily tasks, monitoring workflow, and helping ensure production goals are completed safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing experience, is comfortable working with production equipment, and has the ability to coach, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate production team members

• Assign daily responsibilities and monitor employee performance and workflow

• Help ensure safety, quality, and productivity expectations are consistently met

• Operate production equipment according to established training and operating procedures

• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment

• Maintain established 6S workplace organization and safety standards

• Assist with production operations to maintain workflow and efficiency

• Monitor product quality requirements, including traceability codes, trilingual codes, and GHS pictograms

• Perform flushing processes according to established work instructions

• Fill containers and monitor production line operations

• Rotate between production lines based on operational needs

• Perform hands-on production and material handling tasks as needed

• Complete additional projects and assignments as directed by management

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment

• Previous team lead, leadership, or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong leadership and team-building skills

• Ability to coach, motivate, and support production employees

• Experience with basic production equipment troubleshooting

• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to learn quickly

• Ability to interpret equipment gauges, monitors, and production information

• Understanding of production equipment and manufacturing processes

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and established procedures

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Willingness to work mandatory overtime as required

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Frequently lift, bend, and perform repetitive movements

• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift

• Perform repetitive production tasks

• Frequently climb stairs in designated work areas

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Required PPE may include:

• Safety glasses/eye protection

• Hearing protection in designated areas

• Safety footwear in designated areas
