Accounting Supervisor

We are partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead day-to-day accounting operations and mentor a high-performing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on leadership role in a fast-paced environment with strong visibility across the business. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop an accounting team, providing coaching, support, and performance management Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process Review journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis Partner cross‑functionally with operations and leadership to support business decisions Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements Drive process improvements and support operational efficiencies Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required CPA or CPA candidate with parts passed required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment Prior experience managing or mentoring staff required Strong understanding of financial reporting, month‑end close, and accounting principles Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments and leadership levels Must currently reside in the Chicago area Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship This position offers a collaborative culture, strong leadership support, excellent benefits, and a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in‑office each week. #J-18808-Ljbffr Geneva Search Partners LLC
