Outpatient Counselor

Outpatient Counselor The Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Counselor is responsible for ensuring, with the assistance of other treatment team members, that each participant receives the services necessary to achieve the goals outlined in their individualized treatment plan. Counselors familiarize themselves with each new assigned participant to provide appropriate counseling services based on best‑practice models, and deliver educational presentations to participants and/or their families as needed. Job Summary Provide counseling and support for participants, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with the treatment team to facilitate recovery and maintain program quality. Skills / Requirements Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work from a CSWE‑accredited program. Minimum of one (1) year of full‑time behavioral health experience. Licensed at the independent or associate level with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Addiction Counselor (Addiction Counselor applicable to Residential Programs only). In good standing with the AZBBHE and qualified to provide clinical supervision toward licensure. Valid identification and AZ Fingerprint Clearance card. Benefits Generous PTO accrual (5 weeks).
