You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.Day to Day ResponsibilitiesMaintain compliance with government agenciesAct as the point of contact for Accountants/ClientsMaintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactionsDirect supervision of all accounting and administrative personnelTimely financial reports that reflect all of the activity of the company and all associated entities, Real Estate LLCs, JVs, Deal accountingResponsible for weekly dashboard for all key managers for key indicators only • For the President, a daily cash report with all current asset and liabilities accounted for and work with him to put together a meaningful dashboardIT is functioning properly and we are having regular discussions regarding improvementAll regular/day to day accounting functions are being performed properly and on time including payroll, A/P and A/RThe timely and accurate filing of sales and ad valorem tax returnsHas all systems in place for assuring safety and security for all assets, including cash in particularWork with outside accountants and President to make decisions as are necessary within the accounting functionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experienceFluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skillsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)GAAP: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:CPA (Preferred)Work Location:Multiple locationsWork Remotely:No
