Field Service Engineer (Dual Beam)

Salary: $69,000 - 109,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a bachelors degree and at least 3 years of hands-on technical experience with electronic systems, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of advanced analysis tools such as SEM, TEM, FIB, or comparable platforms.
• We require strong experience diagnosing and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high-voltage systems.

• We need a strong track record of repairing sophisticated systems and subsystems down to the component level.

• We install sophisticated equipment on customer sites and complete testing to verify proper operation.
• We carry out scheduled preventive maintenance visits in the field.
• We diagnose issues and perform repair support for customers and other field personnel.
• We build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, system users, and internal teams.
• We travel, sometimes at short notice, to customer locations to resolve issues or assist other field service colleagues.
• We prepare and submit field service reports.
• We train customers and users on system maintenance.
• We share feedback with product quality teams.
• We help update and correct system documentation.
• We provide guidance on reports, including identifying and isolating outstanding system issues.
