Field IT Support Technician

Job Description As a Field IT Support Technician, you will perform onsite installation and maintenance support on a variety of computer equipment, printers, and specialized Key Control equipment. Each technician is provided with a company vehicle that will be used to travel to our customer sites. Other duties include maintaining an inventory of repair parts and documenting your work through our service tracking system. #LI-Remote Some of the hardware you will be working with is as follows: Application Servers PC's Cabling Switches Printers Routers Fiber Converters Scanners Training You will have an assigned territory and will attend a paid training program in College Station, Texas. The training is primarily a hands-on familiarization course of the equipment at customer sites and will also teach our policies and procedures. Requirements Technical associates degree or equivalent work experience 1+ years of technical experience (hardware/networking) Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on a consistent basis Must be able to attend a paid training class in Texas Must have a valid driver's license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years Good communication skills Customer service experience A+ and/or Network+ certified is a plus Ability to travel, with hotel stays, up to 10% of the time Benefits We strive to offer an environment that provides our associates with the right balance between work and family.
