Intake Case Coordinator (Remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual Intake Case Coordinator for a remote, full-time contract opportunity supporting healthcare and insurance operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional with experience in medical records, medical billing, healthcare administration, or case coordination.

The Intake Case Coordinator will review and process confidential healthcare information, enter and verify data across internal systems, and help maintain accurate case documentation. Key Responsibilities

- Review, process, and enter patient, clinical, and case-related information into internal systems.
- Manage electronic documents, case files, medical records, and confidential healthcare data.
- Verify information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
- Retrieve, update, and track information across healthcare, client, and internal systems.
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to support case processing.
- Make outbound calls as needed to obtain information, provide updates, or support case activity.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $13.25 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: Full-time, with various shifts available.
- Availability required for weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
- Work arrangement: Remote.
- Location: San Juan, PR.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Review and process intake case information, healthcare documents, and case-related records.
- Enter, verify, update, and track confidential patient and clinical data across multiple systems.
- Support document preparation, indexing, quality control, and record management.
- Communicate with internal and external contacts to support timely case coordination.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical records, medical billing, healthcare administration, or a related healthcare environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work with multiple systems, portals, electronic databases, and software tools.
- Strong organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing business needs.
- Professional customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive healthcare information.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of healthcare privacy and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA.
- Experience with insurance, claims, appeals, authorizations, or healthcare case processing.
- Previous experience handling sensitive healthcare information.
- Experience in healthcare operations, intake coordination, case management, or a similar administrative support environment.
