HR Administrative Assistant (Interim) Overland Park, KS | Onsite | Contract Opportunity | $24-$27/hour LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in Overland Park, Kansas, to identify an HR Administrative Assistant for an interim assignment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support a busy Human Resources team while gaining exposure to multiple areas of HR operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is fully onsite and will provide administrative support across employee onboarding, record maintenance, scheduling, and general HR functions. Job Description

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team on a daily basis Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, orientations, and training sessions Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork processing Maintain employee records and personnel files while ensuring confidentiality Prepare HR documents, reports, letters, and employment-related communications Support benefits administration and employee inquiries Track and update employee information within HRIS and internal systems Assist with background checks, employment verifications, and compliance documentation Manage department calendars and coordinate logistics for HR activities Support special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned Qualifications

Previous administrative experience required; HR support experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams Experience working with HRIS systems is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities High level of professionalism and customer service orientation Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), commuter benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
