To expand our team, we are looking for a Procurement Manager to join us at our Mills River location as soon as possible. Job Description Strategic Procurement Ensure long‑term supply security and timely procurement of production materials and capital goods. Analyze and manage supply risks; proactively notify leadership of critical changes. Ensure quality management documentation (e.g., TLE/TLV specifications) in collaboration with QM and R&D. Contribute to quarterly reports on procurement market trends, supply situation, material costs, and cost‑reduction measures. Supplier Management Select and qualify suppliers in coordination with relevant departments. Negotiate contracts and enforce quality standards in collaboration with QM. Define quantity quotas, maintain supplier management, and monitor supplier performance (scoring). Support development projects and coordinate with internal customers to ensure smooth collaboration. Operational Purchasing Manage order processing, including placement, documentation, and monitoring delivery timelines. Approve orders, execute quantity call‑offs, and track supplier deliveries. Maintain SAP master data (vendors, materials, pricing, conditions) and purchasing info records. Handle supplier complaints with QM and enforce justified claims. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Plastic/Chemical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in procurement or purchasing operations; experience in medical plastics procurement required. Proficiency in SAP for procurement and material management. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Familiarity with sourcing strategies, vendor management, and CDI (Continuous Data Improvement) is a plus. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations related to purchasing and supplier compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
