About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Impact & Belonging Officer (CIBO) to lead its efforts in fostering inclusion and diversity, equity, and racial justice (DEIRJ) within the organization and across the nation. The CIBO will be a key partner in the organization's transformation, working to increase the membership of girls nationwide and ensure that the culture, systems, and processes reflect the values of the organization. This executive leadership role requires a visionary and highly effective individual with a proven track record in DEIRJ work, change management, and the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships. The CIBO will be responsible for shaping the organization's DEIRJ vision and strategy, driving impactful initiatives, and developing national partnerships to support membership growth. Candidates for the CIBO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive experience, with at least 10 years' as a senior DEIRJ leader in a complex organization. The role demands a deep understanding of DEIRJ work, including data-driven approaches, and the ability to translate complex strategies into actionable steps for diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a history of identifying and cultivating partnerships, be an outstanding people leader, and have a community-centered approach to collaboration. A degree is required, with an advanced degree in business being highly desired. The CIBO will be expected to be a mission and values-aligned professional, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and with a track record of externally representing an organization's mission to various audiences.
