Commercial Preconstruction & Business Development Manager

Hawk Construction Company is seeking an experienced Commercial Preconstruction & Business Development Manager to help expand our commercial construction portfolio throughout Metro Atlanta. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated construction professional who understands both estimating and business development. Our work includes healthcare facilities, municipal projects, commercial roofing, recreation centers, office renovations, design-build projects, and general commercial construction. What You'll Do Identify and pursue public and private bid opportunities Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client meetings Develop relationships with property managers, facility directors, municipalities, and commercial clients Prepare quantity takeoffs, estimates, budgets, and proposals Solicit and evaluate subcontractor pricing Manage project opportunities through Buildertrend CRM Support contract negotiations and project handoffs Collaborate with ownership and project management teams to drive growth What We're Looking For 5+ years of commercial construction estimating, preconstruction, or business Experience reading plans and specifications Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods Experience with public sector bidding preferred Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Self-starter with strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously Performance Incentives Vehicle Allowance Paid Time Off Professional Development Opportunities Leadership Growth Path Top performers have the opportunity to advance into Senior Preconstruction Manager and Director-level leadership positions while earning well into six figures.
