Construction Manager

A highly respected construction and development firm is seeking a Construction Project Manager with solid experience managing capital projects in the New York City area.

This role demands leadership, financial acumen, and technical knowledge in contributing to the successful completion of projects on time, on budget, and in a safe manner.

This will be a chance to collaborate with experienced construction and development teams on relevant projects, and to have the opportunity to direct projects from conception to completion.

The Role

• Lead capital projects from initial planning and design through construction and final closeout

• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, schedules and overall financial performance

• Manage contracts, change orders, purchase orders and project documentation

• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects and engineering teams

• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, project teams and key stakeholders

• Identify and resolve project risks, challenges and potential delays

• Track project progress and ensure key milestones and deliverables are met

• Contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects and support broader project initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction or project management experience with a proven record of successfully delivering projects

• Experience working on large-scale, complex or high-value construction projects

• Strong understanding of construction processes, project schedules, budgets and contracts

• Experience coordinating multiple project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, architects and engineers

• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field preferred
