Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Washington state license and be prepared to provide exceptional patient care across multiple units.ResponsibilitiesPerform respiratory care procedures and therapies in accordance with established protocols.Administer medications and manage ventilators as per physician orders.Provide floor care and participate in emergency response situations, including code response and rapid response teams.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Float between units based on patient care needs, including pediatrics and adolescents.Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain skills and knowledge.QualificationsCurrent Washington state license as a Respiratory Therapist.Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a respiratory therapy setting.Experience with trauma care preferred.Proficient in the use of respiratory equipment and technology, including but not limited to BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilators.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.Work ScheduleThis position requires night shifts, with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 and alternating weekends. Successful candidates must be willing to commit to working holidays.Additional InformationThe facility is a 629-bed short-term acute care center and a Level II trauma center, providing comprehensive care to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
