University Health in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join our growing team.  Enjoy a collaborative outpatient practice with the support and resources of a large, integrated health system.

Position Highlights

• 100% outpatient psychiatry practice
• No call responsibilities
• Opportunity to work with long-acting injectable treatments
• Strong multidisciplinary support within a large academic-affiliated system
• Established psychiatry team including 5 psychiatrists and 1 APP
• Dedicated therapists, LPCs, and LCDCs embedded within the service line
• Social workers are integrated into primary care clinics for coordinated patient support
• Access to grant-funded programs and innovative community initiatives

Comprehensive Behavioral Health System — Providers benefit from a fully integrated continuum of care, including:

• Emergency Department with psychiatric support
• Adult inpatient psychiatric unit
• Close collaboration with community partners to provide complementary behavioral health and social services
