Sr. DevOps Engineer/Sr. Associate Software Engineer

Job Overview Senior DevOps Engineer / Senior Associate Software Engineer – responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs while ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications. Responsibilities Take ownership of complex software projects from conception to deployment. Manage software delivery scope, risk, and timeline. Possess strong rapid prototyping skills and quickly translate concepts into working code. Contribute to both front‑end and back‑end development using cloud technology. Develop innovative solutions using generative AI technologies. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Create and maintain documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations. Identify and resolve technical challenges effectively. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements. Work closely with product, business, and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software on time. Design, develop, and implement applications and modules, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements. Analyze and understand functional and technical requirements and translate them into software architecture and design specifications. Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure software quality. Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues. Maintain detailed documentation of software designs, code, and development processes. Customize modules to meet specific business requirements and integrate with other systems and platforms. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications to ensure smooth operation. Basic Qualifications Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Computer Science, IT or related field. Associate’s degree and 6 years of Computer Science, IT or related field. High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Computer Science, IT or related field. Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding of information systems and network technologies. 2+ years of experience providing support for large‑scale web infrastructure. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions. Experience with AWS Services (e.g., CloudFront CDN, Load Balancers, EKS, ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch). Working understanding of Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup principles. Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams. High degree of initiative and self‑motivation. Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully. Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving team goals. Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
