Fortinet Network Engineer

Salary: $55,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:

• We appreciate comfort with occasional after-hours work, including evenings or weekends, to support operational and client needs.
• For more senior candidates, we are especially interested in Tier 2/3 experience with Fortinet or comparable enterprise networking expertise.
• We prefer experience in telecommunications, networking, or managed services environments.
• We look for a history of leading design efforts, mentoring teammates, or owning strategic projects.
• CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent practical experience is required or strongly preferred depending on level.

• We design, configure, and deploy firewalls, switches, and wireless access points based on customer network requirements.
• We lead high-level architecture for complex multi-tenant or enterprise-scale Fortinet environments, including SD-WAN designs at senior level.
• We support or own migration projects from legacy systems to Fortinet with minimal downtime and smooth policy transitions.
• We collaborate closely with project managers, field technicians, and end clients to deliver seamless installations.
• We provide technical guidance to junior team members and help define standardized engineering practices at senior level.
• We follow engineering standards for network design, documentation, and project communication.
• We contribute a continuous-improvement mindset to how we design, deploy, and support client environments.
