Payroll Coordinator

LHH is partnering with a company in the Bremerton, WA area to identify a temporary to hire Payroll Coordinator. Join a collaborative team where you'll help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for a union workforce. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with payroll systems, and partnering with HR and Finance to support employees. The ideal candidate will have a few years of payroll processing experience and be able to execute work accurately in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for approximately 400 employees.
• Interpret union contracts to ensure accurate pay, deductions, and benefits.
• Review and resolve payroll issues related to employee leave and payroll discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll data, audits, and reporting within UKG.
• Research and troubleshoot payroll and timekeeping issues.
• Partner with HR and Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a union environment.
• Experience with UKG or a similar payroll system.
• Understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to interpret labor agreements and payroll policies.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field preferred.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
