Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, employing evidence-based practices to accurately identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), customizing approaches based on each client’s unique circumstances.

• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring compliance with all applicable mental health standards.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals to refine treatment strategies and achieve better client outcomes.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at improving service delivery and enhancing clinical skills.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, helping them gain a better understanding of mental health issues and available resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Licensed Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or similar credentials recognized in the state of New York.
