Restoration Technician

Working to ensure all customer needs are met in a kind and sympathetic way, our technicians assist their teams and supervisors with all aspects of restoration work on residential and commercial jobsites, as well as maintain vehicles, equipment, and assets of the business. Our technicians take pride in going above and beyond customer expectations in their times of need by providing a world class level of service which sets up apart from our competitors in the industry.Job Requirements:One or more years' experience within service based industryAbility to work well with peers and customersEffective communication verbally and in writingGood work ethics, English is a requirementGood driving recordFlexibility to work after hours, holidays, and on call when neededAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basisWillingness to learn and adapt under varying circumstancesAbility to follow instructions and make decisionsAbility to use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multi-task and prioritizeExperience using moisture meters is a plusAbility to wear a full body suit, full face respirator and work in confined spaces and hot working environments with limited visibility on occasionIICRC/WTR certification is a plusBilingual is a plusResponsibilities:Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or moldSurvey damage within the propertyEvaluate and record damage to all items within the propertyCleaning process for both contents and structural damageDemolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power toolsClean up assigned job sites after demolitionPerform initial site visitsConduct moisture inspectionsSet restoration equipment within guidelinesComplete notes of assigned jobs in our primary App (MICA)Contact the customer of assigned jobs with ETATake photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the processResponsible for maintaining assigned vehicles and equipmentResponsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipmentKeep equipment clean and organized in the warehouseResponsible for unloading trash in assigned areasResponsible for recording your time and coding it to the job assignedIICRC certifications (IICRC classes offered from time to time)Assist in the development of new hires through on the job trainingCompensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
