We are looking for a part-time Human Resources (HR) Generalist/Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day HR operations for a Contract position based in Springfield, Oregon. This role will contribute to employee support, administrative coordination, onboarding activities, and benefits-related processes while helping maintain accurate personnel records. The ideal candidate brings a practical understanding of HR procedures, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Support employees and managers by addressing workplace questions, resolving routine HR matters, and promoting consistent application of company policies.

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including document collection, orientation scheduling, and completion of required employment records.

• Administer core HR processes by maintaining employee files, updating records, and ensuring information is entered accurately in HR systems.

• Assist with benefits administration by supporting enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries related to available programs.

• Assist with accounts payable data entry and check runs once weekly.

• Process HR-related data entry with accuracy and timeliness, including updates connected to employment status, compensation, and personnel information.

• Partner with internal teams on administrative tasks that may include invoice support, accounts payable coordination, and related check run activities.

• Generate and review HR reports to help monitor records, support audits, and improve overall data quality within HRIS tools.

• Experience in employee relations and general human resources administration.
• Working knowledge of onboarding procedures and benefits support activities.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate digital records.
• Strong data entry skills with close attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Exposure to accounts payable processes, invoice handling, or check run support is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and communicate clearly with employees and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with standard office software and administrative documentation practices.
