Our healthcare service company located in Manasquan, NJ is seeking a Corporate Controller on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate is available within 30 days and is responsible for providing leadership and coordination of company Accounting Functions and ensure company accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

• Salary $110-$130K based on experience

• Hours/Schedule 8:30 to 5:30 with hybrid in office 3 days

Primary Expectations and Objectives of the Corporate Controller:

* Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

* Build effective internal control structure and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs,and actual expenditures.
* Manage month-end close and create the month-end reporting package.

* Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including variance.  

* Manage general ledger accounting, payroll processing, accounts payable, and fixed assets.

* Direct month end closings, financial reporting and coordination of audits (work with outside auditors).

* Ensure proper lender compliance complete with monthly reporting of financials and compliance certificates.

* Production of other requested information such as reports for the preparation of tax returns, A/R and A/P statements, and HR reports.

* Manage and supervise accounting team (3-Payroll Manager, Staff Acct and AP/AR)

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

* 3+ years of experience in a senior-level accounting position

* Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (desktop), PowerBI and SQL a plus 

* Strong understanding of Cash Flow Management

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high energy and positive attitude

* Stellar verbal and written communication skills

* Self-direction, good judgment and conflict resolution skills 

* Excellent organizational, decision-making and time management skills

* Superior interpersonal skills, including professional attitude, ability to delegate and relate to all colleagues
