Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct various therapy sessions, including individual, couples, and family therapy, focused specifically on emotional challenges related to recovery.

• Perform detailed assessments to gauge clients' relational dynamics, emotional hurdles, and rehabilitation aspirations, thereby creating tailored treatment plans that align with both mental health and recovery goals.

• Implement family systems theory in therapeutic interventions to enhance communication, mitigate conflicts, and cultivate effective coping strategies for clients and their families.

• Collaborate closely with a spectrum of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and physicians, to ensure a cohesive approach to client care and shared therapeutic objectives.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during critical moments of a client’s rehabilitation pathway.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices, ensuring accurate progress tracking.

• Educate clients and their families on emotional rehabilitation aspects, fostering a deeper understanding of coping mechanisms and strategies to strengthen family unity.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
