Field Service Technician - Level 2

Road Mechanic – Job Summary We are seeking a Road Mechanic/Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet that includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and specialty equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. The role requires working in remote locations and maintaining a safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, and specialty lines equipment. Make repairs to maintain equipment uptime and safety. Provide mechanic’s tools and equipment as needed. Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems. Operate flexibly in a fast-paced environment. Maintain accurate service records. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired. 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations). Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location. ASE or IFPS certification is a plus. Physical Demands Work requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, indoors or outdoors. Pay Base Pay Range: $27.65 - $38.02 per hour, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
