Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, requiring 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday support.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide critical care to patients in a Medical ICU setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and must possess advanced critical thinking skills. The role involves assisting providers with bedside procedures as needed, including chest tube insertion and intubations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the ICU setting, managing care for 2:1 patient ratios.
• Utilize ventilators, IV pumps, and targeted temperature management equipment effectively.
• Perform bedside procedures and work closely with healthcare providers to deliver high-level care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Medical ICU experience in a large facility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Advanced skills in ventilator management, critical care pharmacology, and central line management are necessary.
• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license.
