We're seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Pickers to join a large parts distribution center on 1st shift . In this contract-to-hire role, you'll be responsible for accurately picking, packing, staging, and preparing products for shipment while supporting daily warehouse operations.

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour

1st Shift

• Full-time hours
• Overtime may be required based on business needs

• Pick and pack orders accurately using pick sheets and RF scanners.
• Sort boxes and place products on designated pallets for shipment.
• Use RF scanning technology to locate, verify, and track inventory.
• Handle products ranging from small packages to large machine parts using proper material handling equipment.
• Load and unload semi-trailers safely and efficiently.
• Stage, organize, and prepare completed orders for shipment.
• Assist with inventory control and general warehouse duties.
• Support forklift operations and receive forklift training as needed.
• Follow established quality and safety procedures to ensure accurate shipments.

• 3-6 months of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience.
• Experience with order picking and packing.
• Ability to use RF scanners or willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in inventory control, shipping, receiving, or warehouse distribution.
• Willingness to complete forklift certification training provided by the employer.
• Ability to work effectively in a large warehouse environment.

This is a fully onsite position in a large parts distribution center. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, working with inventory, RF scanners, pallets, and material handling equipment. The environment is fast-paced, safety-focused, and built around teamwork and accuracy.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
