Assembly Operator

Cardinal Staffing is interviewing for a production facility in Holly, MI for an Assembly Operator performing production work to assemble or fabricate a product or sub-assembly in accordance with team production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures product/process quality and efficiency through inspection and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintains procedures to provide compliance with quality standards for assigned area.
• Performs basic preventative maintenance and routine product changeover setups.
• Maintains material movement systems and completes proper paperwork and documentation.
• Participates in annual planning process, understanding plant objectives and identifying improvements to help attain goals.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of team objectives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma; or equivalent.
• Preferred 1+ year(s) experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Must be able to interact effectively with other team members.
• Demonstrated ability to operate within production and quality standards; including being able to operate/utilize all job-related equipment. Equipment may include hand cart, hand tools, production machinery and other related equipment and tools.
• Demonstrated good attendance, safety, and performance record.
• Proven experience working with cross functional teams to complete daily tasks and projects.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other employees.
• Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise.

Pay: $17/hour; 2nd and 3rd shift receive an additional $0.60/hr shift premium.

Shifts:

1st Monday-Friday

• 6:30am-2:30pm
• 7:00am-3:00pm

2nd Monday-Friday

• 2:30pm-10:30pm
• 3:00pm-11:00pm

3rd Monday-Friday

• 10:30pm-6:30am
• 11:00pm-7:00am

Weekends as needed for all shifts.
