Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented financial institution seeking a Senior Operations Accounting Leader to oversee key operational accounting areas and drive process improvements across the organization. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close for multiple operational functions Oversee deposit-related regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with all requirements Review GL activity, variance analyses, and reconciliations Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures Support audits and prepare reports for internal/external stakeholders Partner on new products, services, and system enhancements Drive automation and process improvement initiatives Support ad hoc analyses and special projects Qualifications 6+ years of progressive accounting experience Big 4 background preferred, ideally with financial services clients In-house or advisory experience in banking or financial services a major plus Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting Proven leadership and cross-department collaboration skills CPA or MBA preferred Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP or automation tools beneficial High-impact leadership role within a stable, expanding financial institution Exposure to new products, systems, and automation initiatives Strong potential for internal growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr Ignited Recruiting
