Job Description The Associate Electrical Engineer supports manufacturing operations by applying electrical engineering principles to improve equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. This role contributes to electrical design, automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities Assist in design of electrical systems including power distribution and controls Develop and maintain schematics and CAD drawings Support PLC, HMI, and automation systems troubleshooting Provide day-to-day support to production and maintenance Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Support project execution and equipment installations Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 0-3 years experience (internships/co‑ops acceptable) Basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, drives and control systems Ability to read electrical schematics Strong problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD Exposure to Allen‑Bradley or Siemens PLCs Exposure to ThinManager and MES Manufacturing or automation internship experience Understanding of Lean principles Core Competencies Technical Aptitude (Electrical & Controls) Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis Continuous Improvement Mindset Collaboration & Teamwork Communication Skills Time Management & Organization Pay Range $62,856.00 - $94,284.00 Culture and Benefits 401(k) Plan, Employer Fixed Contributions & Company Matching Profit Sharing* Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage* Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)*, Health Savings Account (HSA) and Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) Life Insurance Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Paid Maternity Leave & Paid Parental Leave* Career Growth Planning & Nationwide Career Opportunities For employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement, some benefits may differ or may not be available based on the terms of the agreement. Profit Sharing In 2026 Andersen has set a profit‑sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
