Senior Vice President - Development

Dalfen Industrial is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President to join its growing deployment team in Dallas, TX. The Development Sourcing Officer will be responsible for identifying and securing ground-up industrial development opportunities and will report to senior leadership. Position Responsibilities Proactivelysourcelandanddevelopmentsitesforground-upindustrialprojectsacrosstargetmarkets,withaprimaryfocusontheDallas–FortWorthmetroplexandSunBelt Buildandmanageadeeppipelineofon-marketandoff-marketlandopportunitiesthroughbroker,landowner,andmarketrelationships Leverageexistingequitypartnerrelationshipstostructureandpresentdevelopmentopportunitiesforjointventureandco-investmentconsideration Conductsite-levelfeasibilityanalysis,includingzoning,entitlements,infrastructure,andpreliminaryunderwriting Prepareinvestmentmemosandpresentopportunitiestoseniorleadershipandcapitalpartners Coordinatewithinternaldevelopment,construction,andcapitalmarketsteamsthroughthepre-developmentandclosingprocess Monitorcompetitivelandactivity,marketfundamentals,andsubmarkettrendstoidentifyemergingopportunities Represent company at industry events, with the brokerage community, and among landowner networks Skills & Experience 7+yearsofexperienceinindustrialrealestatedevelopment,landacquisition,orground-updevelopmentsourcing Proventrackrecordidentifyingandclosinglandsitesforspeculativeorbuild-to-suitindustrialdevelopment Establishedrelationshipswithequitypartners,institutionalcapitalsources,anddevelopmentjointventurepartners Priorexperienceatarerecognizedindustrialdeveloperstronglypreferred DeepknowledgeoftheDallas–FortWorthindustriallandmarket;familiaritywithbroaderSunBeltmarketsaplus Strongunderwritingandfinancialmodelingskills;proficiencyinExcelrequired,Argusaplus Abilitytooperateindependently,movequicklyonopportunities,andmanagemultipledealssimultaneously Exceptionalcommunication,negotiation,andrelationshipmanagementskills Bachelor's degree required, degree in Real Estate, Finance, or related field preferred Company Overview Dalfen Industrial is one of the largest private equity owner, operator, and developer of industrial real estate.
